Central America fireEl image to serve as the project offers a number of satellite-based products, which will focus on the problem of incedios in Mesoamerica. These products are used to monitor the situation and the extent of the incedios and their potential impact on the region. Two of the products to be of particular interest to the regional disaster response management yl communal land: 1) Maps, Interactive Services and Fire 2) Early Warning Fire Service MODIS.
Interactive Fire Maps service, developed by the University of Maryland, NASA, and CATHALAC is an interactive online map, which shows the active fires detected by MODIS Early Warning System. Users can also subscribe by e-mail is protected from fire or a well-defined geographical areas. Click on the links below to see. The last fire, and subscribe to e-mail messages.
Fire Early Warning Service shows the MODIS active daily items, we found that the MODIS sensor on board the Terra and Aqua satellites. Click on the Image Viewer to view real-time active today, and points the previous day. Click on the icon to see a serve-VIZ 3D products of their environment. Click the link to the metadata server and serve the search box, enter the word "disaster" or "Fire", to view and download information.
